A man has died and six people have been injured in a crash in Co Kildare tonight.
Two cars collided at Martinstown near Newbridge at around 5.00pm.
The dead man, who was in his 20s, was a passenger in one of the cars. He has not yet been named.
Three adults and three children have been taken to Naas General Hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.
A total of 64 people have been killed on the State's roads this year.
