Not guilty plea in guns case

A man was charged yesterday with possessing guns and ammunition alleged to have been found in his Belfast home nearly three years ago. Mr Henry McCourt (25), from Bute Street in the York Road area, was said to have replied "not guilty" when charged. He was remanded in custody and defence solicitor Mr Billy McNulty said a bail application would be made in the High Court today
