Northern textile company Adria Ltd is to shed 55 jobs at its outlets in Tyrone and Derry.
The company, which produces lingerie and supplies Marks & Spencer and other high street retailers, employs some 1,000 people in the region.
West Tyrone Sinn Féin MP Mr Pat Doherty said: "This news is devastating for those people being laid off and there families and will also have a knock-on negative impact on the local economy."
