Belfast born composer Shaun Davey has been nominated for both a BAFTA and an Ivor Novello music industry award for his scoring of last year's BBC television series, The Hanging Gale. "It feels slightly unreal", he said yesterday.
Davey's schedule includes a ballet commission for a US company, music for a second series of the BBC's Ballykissangel series and the scoring of Trevor Nunn's Twelfth Night which has just finished filming.
