Manado - Hopes were fading yesterday for the nearly 500 people on board an overloaded ferry that sank in Indonesia's Maluku Sea, as officials said no more survivors had been found as search efforts continued for a fifth day.
On Sunday 11 survivors were picked up after three days adrift in shark-infested waters. One of them later died. The boat left Halmahera carrying mostly Christians fleeing the sectarian violence that has left 4,000 people dead.
