A new railway station is to open at Monasterevan, Co Kildare, it was announced today.
The new railway station will open on Monday, October 22nd. There has been no railway service in Monasterevan since 1976 when the old service closed.
The Maynooth service, which also serves West Dublin stations, will also be enhanced, with capacity for an extra 350 commuters on some services.
