The Irish Heart Foundation's new president, Dr Dennis Boyle, has promised that the organisation will continue to be at the forefront of educating the public and health professionals on the prevention and treatment of heart disease.
A Belfast-based consultant cardiologist, Dr Boyle is the first IHF president from the North.
