Athens - The group of plane spotters being held in Greece accused of spying may have to wait days before judges meet to discuss the evidence against them. It is yet another setback for the 14-strong group, which includes 12 British citizens.

Greek foreign ministry officials were said to be taking a "serious" view of reports that Mr Paul Coppin, who organised the holiday, was a guest of the Turkish armed forces in May this year. He has denied links with Turkish intelligence services, insisting he was there as an accredited aviation journalist.
