THE ROAD Safety Authority has asked the public to submit opinions on the proposed introduction of checks on the following items in the National Car Test from 2010:
Vehicle exhaust noise;
Annual testing of vehicles over 10-years-old;
Clarity of windscreen and front side windows;
Certification marks for tyres;
Malfunctioning dashboard warning lights;
Functioning of rear fog light;
Functioning of reversing light;
Functioning of rear registration plate lamp.
