Andrew Nesbitt, in probably his toughest victory to date, has won the Jim Clark Rally in Edinburgh.

Derek McGarrity had led the Rally from the start until a broken prop-shaft ended his charge.

Leading British Championship driver Jonny Milner inherited the lead and he and Nesbitt battled for the next 5 stages.

Nesbitt eventually took the lead after Milner punctured only to fall foul of a clutch problem with his Subaru.

He lost 30 seconds on a road penalty and dropped further time before storming over the final 4 stages to win by 2 minutes 37 seconds. commencing the first weekend in August.
