A house owner in the embassy belt of Dublin 4 told a judge yesterday that his home was being devalued because a neighbour was allowing her garden to grow wild.
William Carroll, Argyle Road, Ballsbridge, said in the Circuit Civil Court that his gardener regularly had to cut back briars and overgrowth across his wall from neighbour Adrienne Barry’s home.
Mr Justice Matthew Deery granted an order directing Ms Barry to cut back the growth and prune trees and awarded Mr Carroll €2,500 damages and legal costs.
