The man found dead in Kildare this morning has been named as Mr David Brown from Lakeside Court, Newbridge, Co Kildare.
The 37-year-old man was found on the side of the road in Kilteel at 3 a.m.
Gardai said he may have been a victim of a hit and run.
The State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison, conducted a post mortem this afternoon at Naas General hospital and results are expected over the next 24 hours.
