Relatives of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane, shot dead in his home by loyalist paramilitaries in 1989, are set to make fresh calls for a judicial inquiry into the killing during a congressional hearing on Capitol Hill on Thursday.

Mr Martin Finucane, the victim's brother, said the visit would enable the family to highlight the case to US politicians in Washington DC and at meetings in New York.
