Murder inquiry opens into death of Armagh man

The PSNI has opened a murder inquiry into the death of a farmer whose body was found at his home yesterday.

The PSNI has opened a murder inquiry into the death of a farmer whose body was found at his home yesterday.

Victor Stewart was found dead at his house on the Creevekeeran Road in Middletown, Co Armagh, at 11.30am.

A postmortem was carried out on the 45-year-old man, and police last night they were treating the case as murder.

The PSNI is seeking anyone who was with Mr Stewart in the days before his death, or who was in the area between Sunday and Tuesday.
