Three prison officers from Mountjoy are assisting Gardaí with their inquiries into an alleged CD counterfeiting scam operating out of the jail.
The three officers were interviewed following a raid by gardaí investigating claims that music CDs were being copied and sold on to prisoners and people outside.
Officers are also understood to be investigating the possibility that pornographic videos were being copied and sold.
The Minister for Justice, Mr Michael McDowell has ordered an investigation intothe matter.
No arrests have been made and the Garda investigation is continuing.
