A man who was stopped by Moroccan internet cafe bosses from looking at terrorist websites blew himself up yesterday with explosives hidden on his body.

Morocco's official MAP news agency reported that four others were injured in the blast. Police arrested the man's companion, who was slightly injured in the explosion and had fled, MAP said.

The explosion happened in an internet cafe in Sidi Moumen, a district on the outskirts of Casablanca.

Two men entered the cafe at 10pm yesterday, seeking access to terrorist sites, according to police.

When the owner's son forbade them from doing so, one of the men was suddenly blown up by explosives he was wearing. The owner's son and two others present were slightly injured in the blast, MAP reported.
