Gardaí are no longer treating the death of a man whose body was found in a house in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, yesterday as suspicious.

The decision was made after a postmortem was carried out by the assistant state pathologist Dr Michael Curtis.

The man (57) was found with head injuries at 1.40am yesterday and pronounced dead just under two hours later. His house on Main Street in the town was sealed off for a time.
