Belgrade - A Yugoslav court said yesterday it had submitted the UN tribunal's indictment for war crimes to former Yugoslav leader Mr Slobodan Milosevic in his Belgrade jail cell.

However, the office of Mr Milosevic's lawyer said he had refused to accept the document.

Mr Milosevic (59) was arrested on April 1st on suspicion of abuse of office after a standoff at his villa.
