Mathematics is Ireland’s best performing third level discipline,a global university ranking of subjects has found.
Trinity College Dublin is ranked 15th in the world for mathematics, the QS World University Rankings by subject show.
Irish universities featured in the top 200 for 24 of the 26 subjects examined.
Electrical engineering was inside the top 200 for seven Irish third level institutions.
