Mexico City- A powerful quake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale rocked central and southern Mexico yesterday, killing at least 13 people in the capital and in the city of Oaxaca.
Oaxaca, 400km south-east of the capital, and nearby areas appeared the worst hit, with authorities reporting 11 deaths and structural damage to hundreds of buildings.
