Man taken from Liffey at Burgh Quay

A man has been taken from the River Liffey at Burgh Quay in Dublin's city centre this afternoon.

A man has been taken from the River Liffey at Burgh Quay in Dublin's city centre this afternoon.

Emergency services attended the scene, including units from the Dublin Fire Brigade and members of An Garda Siochana.

It is not yet clear how the man ended up in the water.

A garda spokesman said the man had been taken to hospital, but his condition is not known.
