Man shot in Antrim paramilitary-style attack

A man (31) was shot in what police say was a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, last night.

A man (31) was shot in what police say was a paramilitary-style punishment attack in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, last night.

The man was walking shortly after 7.30 p.m. on the North Roadd when two men in a car pulled up alongside him and forced him into the car.

He was driven to a nearby estate, where he was shot in the right leg.
