Man sets himself alight in Cork solicitor's office

A man is in a critical condition in hospital today after setting himself on fire in a Co Cork solicitor's office.

A man is in a critical condition in hospital today after setting himself on fire in a Co Cork solicitor's office.

The man (44) walked into the premises on Market Street in Skibbereen at 10.50 a.m., doused himself in petrol and set himself on fire.

The man is being treated at Cork University Hospital where his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

It is understood there were clients in the office at the time but none was injured.
