A man has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision on the N2 earlier this evening.
The incident took place at the Rath Roundabout just after 6.15 pm, when a car and a truck collided.
The male driver of the car was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, suffering serious injuries.
Gardaí at Ashbourne are investigating the incident, and traffic coming from the N2 bypass heading north is currently being diverted via Curragha.
