A man was sentenced yesterday to 10 months detention for possession of cannabis resin.
Kenneth Maher (20) of Marian Park, Tralee was sentenced at Tralee District Court.
Insp Martin McCarthy said there were no previous convictions against the defendant who had cannabis resin to the value of £598 in his possession.
Judge Kelleher - the lives of others could have been placed in danger by the defendant.
