A man has appeared in court in connection with the fatal shooting of another man in Dublin on Wednesday.
Eddie Flanagan (49), from Primrose Grove, Coolock, Dublin, died when he was shot at an apartment complex at Larch Hill in Santry during a social gathering.
Peter Donnelly (50), with an address at Priorswood, was charged with firearms offences when he appeared before the Dublin District Court this afternoon. He was remanded in custody for a week.
It is understood a postmortem examination found Mr Flanagan had been shot in the head.
