A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of 1kg of cocaine at Dublin airport.
The drugs were discovered yesterday when officers stopped and searched the baggage of a 48-year-old Latvian man.
He had arrived on a flight from London having previously travelled from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The cocaine was found glued to the side wall of a briefcase.
The man was arrested at the scene and appeared in Dublin District Court today where he was remanded in custody to appear in Cloverhill District Court on Friday.
