A Cork man has been remanded on continuing bail by the Central Criminal Court for sentence on a sexual assault charge. John McCarthy (19), James Street, Mitchelstown, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman on June 1st, 1996, in the town. Mr Justice Carney remanded him on continuing bail for sentence on April 30th and directed the preparation of reports.
