Gardai were questioning a Dublin man last night about a series of robberies from post office boxes in the city. The man had gained access to the keys of boxes and was removing letters over a period of time, Garda sources said.
The man threw the keys over a high wall into undergrowth in the grounds of the AIB bank at College Green, according to the sources. Last night, gardai from Pearse Street and a unit of Dublin Fire Brigade were searching for them.
