A 19 year old man was charged last night with the manslaughter of the tennis star, Mr Gareth Parker (23), who died in hospital after being beaten by a gang last Friday night.
The victim, from north Belfast, had been a player and part time coach at the Tennis Academy attached to the Riverview Club in Dublin. The accused man will appear in Belfast Magistrates Court today.
