A Galway man was killed on Sunday when his motorbike crashed into a bridge. Dermot Kenny (36), the eldest of five, was on his way to visit his parents in Dunmore, north Galway, when the crash happened not far from their home at Killavoher.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident on a notorious bend at the bridge on the Dunmore to Clonberne road.
Mr Kenny is survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
