A Polish man was killed today in a car crash in Co Meath

A Polish man was killed today in a car crash in Co Meath. The man (23) a front seat passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

The driver, the only other occupant, is in the intensive care unit at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

Gardai at Ashbourne are investigating the incident, which happened in the early hours of this morning at Warrenstown, Drumree.

A Garda spokesman said there was no other car involved and no witnesses when the driver lost control.
