A 27-year-old man was killed in a crash in Co Limerick yesterday.
The victim was named locally as Fintan Ryan from Doon, Co Limerick.
The student was driving a car which crashed through a ditch at Kilonan, Ballysimon, just after 9.30am.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital.
There were no passengers in the car and no other vehicles were involved.
