A 50-year-old man was killed in an industrial accident in Clondalkin, Co Dublin yesterday. Mr Edmund Doyle, from Blackrock in Dublin died after getting caught in a machine on which he was working at Grace Packaging, in the Avonbeg Industrial estate.
Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating the accident which happened shortly before 1 p.m. The victim was taken to St James's hospital.
