A man in his thirties was killed this morning when his tractor collided with a truck on the Mullingar by-pass.
The crash occurred on the Dublin side of the Westmeath town shortly before 7 a.m. this morning.
The driver of the truck was injured in the collision.
Gardaí in Mullingar are appealing for witnesses to this accident to contact them at 044-48915.
