Man killed in Co Cork after car hits lorry

A man in his forties has died following a road collision in Co Cork this morning.

Gardaí said the man was killed when the car he was driving was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry. No one else was injured.

The collision occurred shortly after 7am at Curraghprevin, between Rathcormac and Watergrass Hill.

Traffic diversions are in place, and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
