Gardaí in Kilrush are this morning investigating a fatal road collision in which a 20 year-old man was killed.
The accident happened at around 4.50am this morning at Moyaska, Kilrush, Co Clare.
The single vehicle accident resulted in the death of the man who was a front-seat passenger of the car. It is understood the car left the road and ended up in a field.
The 19 year-old male driver of the car survived with minor injuries.
