A man in his 60s has died from injuries after he was struck by a car when out walking in Co Cavan last night.
The man was walking on the N3 at Lavey, Stradone at 7.45pm. He was taken to Cavan Regional Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí.
