Man jailed for role in Perth killing

An Australian was sentenced yesterday for his role in disposing of the body of murdered Dubliner Joseph Paul Flanagan

An Australian was sentenced yesterday for his role in disposing of the body of murdered Dubliner Joseph Paul Flanagan. Clinton James Horn (28) was jailed for three years and eight months by the Western Australian District Court in Perth.

Mr Flanagan (35) was stabbed 23 times and had acid poured on his face and hands so he could not be identified. He was buried in a dense forest 120 miles south of Perth. Three people, two men and a woman, have been charged over his murder.

Earlier this week Horn pleaded guilty to being an accessory to wilful murder. The court heard that Horn and Flanagan knew each other through the drug world.
