A man is recovering in hospital following an overnight shooting in Co Down.
The man, who is 24 years old, was injured in the leg after being attacked in the Ballyhornan area of Downpatrick.
The victim, his girlfriend and his parents were at home when the attack occurred.
It is understood a stone was thrown through the kitchen window and the man was hit in the leg when he went to investigate.
Police are investigating a motive for the attack.
