A man is recovering from injuries sustained in a stabbing incident in Kilkenny city last night.
A man who was arrested in relation to the incident has been released without charge but a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
It happened in Ballybough Street at 7.30 p.m. yesterday evening.
The man's condition is said to be not life threatening.
