A man has been injured in a knife attack in south Dublin.

A man has been injured in a knife attack in south Dublin.

Gardai from Dún Laoghaire are investigating the stabbing in the town.

Three men were involved in an altercation on the junction of George's Street and Mulgrave Road at 12.10pm today in which one man was reportedly stabbed several times in the face, the back of neck and the shoulder.

The man, in his 30s, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital, and his injuries are described as not life threatening.

Another man, also in his 30s, was arrested and is being questioned.
