Gardaí in Clare have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of Limerick businessman Roy Collins earlier this year.

The man was arrested shortly before 9am this morning under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, and is being detained at Roxboro Garda Station.

Roy Collins was shot dead in his amusement arcade at Roxboro Shopping Centre last April.

A 23-year-old man has already been charged with his murder.
