A 19-year-old man detained yesterday in connection with the dissident republican murder of two British soldiers in Northern Ireland last month has been released on bail.
The man was arrested in the Bellaghy area of Co Derry just before 7am yesterday. He was also held on the attempted murder of five other people outside the Massereene Barracks in Antrim on March 7th.
He was released pending a report to the PPS.
Sappers Mark Quinsey (23), of Birmingham, and Patrick Azimkar (21), of London, were shot dead at the gates of Massereene Barracks in Antrim on Saturday March 7th as they collected pizzas from delivery men.
Two soldiers and two civilian pizza delivery men were seriously injured in the attack.
The Real IRA, a splinter group of the IRA, later claimed responsibility for killing the soldiers.
