A man has been arrested in Cork in connection with the death of a Brazilian national in Charleville on Thursday last.
Gardaí investigating the death, arrested a 43-year-old Brazilian man at 7.40am in Charleville. He is being held at Mallow Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The name of the victim has been released. He was 47-year-old Alberto Do Prado Oliveira, who had been living and working locally.
