A 56kg (123lb) haul of cannabis has been found hidden in the fuel tank of a van searched after coming off a ferry from France.
A 29-year-old Romanian man has been arrested after the seizure was made in the Rosslare terminal. He is being questioned in Wexford Garda station.
The drugs are estimated to be worth about €337,500.
The Revenue’s Customs Service said officers made the seizure as a result of routine profiling.
