Gardaí are investigating the death of a man after a fight in Dublin city centre last night.

Gardaí are investigating the death of a man after a fight in Dublin city centre last night.

The body of the man, 53, was found in an apartment block in Townsend Street at about 9.30 p.m. and was taken to St James' Hospital.

Gardaí said it appeared an argument had taken place at the flats. Deputy State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy was carrying out a post-mortem examination on the body.
