A man is to appear in court tomorrow charged in connection with the death of a 20-month-old boy, Gardaí said this evening.
The infant, Nathan Alli, of Clane, Co Kildare was taken to Naas General Hospital by ambulance this morning but was pronounced dead shortly after 4 a.m.
A 28-year-old man was subsequently arrested at the hospital at around 6.50 a.m. and was taken to Naas Garda Station.
He is to appear before Naas District Court tomorrow morning, a police spokesman said.
