Man due in court over Belfast murder

A 39-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with murder.

A 39-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with murder.

The charges relate to the killing of Mr Glen Ervine (38), whose body was found in the loyalist Mountpottinger area of the city on Monday morning.

He had severe head injuries. A PSNI spokesman said the victim is thought to have been involved in a fight before his death.
