Man dies following Dublin stabbing attack

The man who died in an stabbing incident in Dublin overnight has been named by gardaí as Mr Mark Daly.

The man who died in an stabbing incident in Dublin overnight has been named by gardaí as Mr Mark Daly.

The 29-year-old was attacked at 11 p.m. in Drumalee Road, Cabra.

A garda spokesman said Mr Daly was originally from the area but had been living in Britain for a number of years.

A man is helping investigating officers with their inquiries and a file has been sent to the DPP, the spokesman said.

The assistant state pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, was due to carry out a post-mortem today.
